Embroidered Patches

Patches are widely used in all sorts of uniforms and fashion garments. We have more than 100 twill colors and over 250 thread colors. Embroidery patches can be any shape, any size up to 45 cm x 29 cm (17 3/4” x 11 7/16”). Minimum dimension depends on the simplicity of the patch. We have ever made a 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm (1” x 1”) small!

Minimum order is 50 pcs per design. We may accept lower quantity in some cases, for example, if there are multiple designs.

We are equipped with advanced Tajima and Baurden machines that produce high quality.

Embroidery patch v.s. Woven patch

Embroidery Patch

Embroidery features:
1. Patterns are stitched onto a fabric
2. Has a unique feel under the thumb
3. Thicker thread, and makes the patch dimensional
4. Has 3D, glow in the dark, reflective options

Woven features:
1. The pattern is the fabric
2. Better text clarity
3. Thinner threads allow more details
4. Text can be half the size it can be with embroidery

Patch overall size:

How to measure a size:
Overall size = Max (Height + Width) / 2
Simply add together the height and width of your desired patch; then divide that number by two.

Please advise the max tall and wide, and measurement (inch, cm or mm).
You can say: ”2 x 3 inch”, or just “2 inch wide”, or “3 inch wide”.
If you just say ”2 inch”, we’ll regard it as whichever the longer side instead of the overall size.
If the requested dimension is not proportionate, we’ll use whatever the larger number as the longer side, and the shorter side in proportion.

Embroidery coverage:

Complex animal

Gives a verve of the animal hair, whiskers and eyes, making it look authentic. Just give us the photo.

Color gradient

Blends with 2 colors (or more), in the background or on the text.

Portrait

Authentic simulation of human face.

Stitching methods:

Running stitch

Minimum thickness: 0.5mm (about 3/128") For tiny lines and lettering to present minimal details. Looks dotted lines.

Satin stitch

Minimum thickness: 1mm (about 3/64”) For medium objects which within 10 mm. Satin stitch can be 1mm~10 mm. 3D available.

Fill stitch

For wide area such as background, and faces. Most common used if the longer side of the object or background over 10 mm.

Irregular satin stitch

Radial stitching. Commonly seen in animals and plants.

Patterned fill stitch

Fill stitch in hexagon or round that give an extraordinary effect.

Be careful:

If the details are too complicated, they would be simplified or neglected (we will let you know before giving you a quote). If you mind, woven and dye-sublimation would be a better choice.

Not suitable for embroidery:

Photos, very detailed designs (please send us the design to determine), rust effect, paint stains
