Sew-on backing (for sewing)
For embroidery patches, sew-on backing can be non-woven or plastic.
Plastic backing looks alike iron on backing, but it does not allow ironing.
If you do not specify non-woven or plastic, we will use non-woven.
Iron-on backing
Iron-on backing (aka. heat seal backing) allows you to use a domestic iron or heat press machine to attach patches.
Do NOT apply Iron-on backing to rayon, nylon, triacetate fabrics or waterproof fabric, leather, woolen (or knitted apparel), silk, GORE-TEX, down coats and rain jackets.

Stick-on backing (aka. Self-adhesive backing, Peel & Stick)
Has a sticky back so you can place it onto any flat object -- clothes, bags or phones Please do not remove it too many times or the patch will be less and less secure. If the patch is placed onto cotton garment, you can also iron to let it permanently stick.
Velcro
Velcro hook and loop fasteners. For black velcro, you can request the hook side only, but make sure you have the loop side.
The standard Velcro color is black. We also provide other color options (red, military green, yellow, white, navy blue, tan) but they come with extra cost. If you'd like a color other than black, feel free to inform us.
Upgrade option: Micro Velcro
Micro Velcro is soft, not pricking while touching. Costs double the regular Velcro.
